Accommodation
Stirling Lodge is an American Plan Resort, which means that, unlike most hotels in Ontario, we do not charge per room, but per person.
In addition to your room, our per person rates include three meals a day in our newly renovated Post and Beam restaurant. If you would prefer to eat on the lake or on the road, we’re more than happy to prepare a packed lunch for you to take with you. Because you do not have to worry about added food expenses, you know exactly what your vacation will cost up front and can plan accordingly.
All of our units have private bathrooms, cable television, complimentary WiFi, and heat and air-conditioning.
A deposit of $100.00 per person is required for all reservations. We guarantee that the requested accommodation will be available for the period requested while you in return guarantee to occupy the room for that same period. Should you cancel all or part of your reserved stay, you will forfeit your deposit. If we are able to subsequently rent your room for the full period, we will refund your deposit less a $10.00 per person administrative fee.
Note: early departure or late arrival will be billed at a $10.00 charge per day-per person.

Lakeside
Perfect for couples or small groups eager to get out on the lake, our Lakeside rooms are right next door to the marina and all have access to a lovely porch with a fantastic up-close view of Newboro Lake.
Lakeview
Set up on a hill overlooking the lake, our spacious Lakeview rooms are comfortable, and just steps away from the gazebo and marina. All Lakeview rooms share a deck and feature mini fridges.
Lakeview Suites
We have two beautiful Lakeview Suites. Each unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms so they are perfect for families or small groups.
Birch Cottage
Birch cottage has two bedrooms and a sitting room that accommodates a small group in true comfort. Birch Cottage allows pets.
Poplar Suite
Directly across from the main lodge, Poplar Suite is one of our more economical accommodations, with a fantastic deck overlooking the garden. Rent both sides for a small group or just one side for fewer people.
Oak Cottage
Oak Cottage is very private and surrounded by beautiful large oak trees. Overlooking the grounds, Oak Cottage is situated about half way between the marina and the main lodge and is very popular for groups as well as families. Oak Cottage allows pets.
Maple House
Maple House is an excellent choice for groups. Three separate units overlooking the grounds with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in each. Book all three for groups up to 12, or combine with Twin Cedar accommodation (the lower level of this unit) for larger groups.
Twin Cedar
Located on the lower level of Maple House, two separate bedrooms, three bathrooms and a common sitting area make Twin Cedar very suitable for large groups.
Main Lodge
Located on the second floor of the main lodge, these rooms have all been newly renovated and decorated. Beautiful bathrooms, furniture, and large screen televisions feature in each room. Main Lodge rooms are entirely non-smoking.
Manor
A large Victorian Manor with eight individual rooms on three floors. Beautiful views overlooking Newboro Lake, and antiqued rooms. The designer suite has a private hot tub.
Manor Suite
A spacious private unit located at the rear of the manor with two levels, three bedrooms, and three baths. This suite comfortably sleeps up to eight anglers. It’s attached deck offers a spectacular view of the lake.
Moss Cliff Cottage
Moss Cliff Cottage, a stones throw from the shore, is comprised of two bedrooms and two baths. Moss Cliff’s proximity to the docks makes it ideal for up to four serious fishermen, while its solitude is perfect for the family desirous of a quiet getaway. Pets are allowed.
Pump House Cottage
Right at the waters edge, just steps to Newboro Lake, and with a private deck overlooking the shore, Pump House is the preferred accommodation for couples and small families looking for privacy and quiet. Pets are allowed.
Fishing at Stirling Lodge
Located in the heart of the Rideau Lakes, excellent Bass and Pike fishing have brought fishermen to Stirling Lodge for over 120 years. From our docks on Newboro Lake, the summit of the Rideau Canal, you can explore all the adjoining lakes from Kingston to Ottawa!
